Hi there,

I´m trying to install osTicket on my server and am running into a strange error 503 (service temporarily unavailable) when I want to complete the basic installation form in the browser (the one where you fill in your admin user data, the default mail address, and the database logon data).

At first sight, being a 503, it seemed - at least to me - to be a problem of my provider which I called but they didn´t see any irregularities in their status. Other sites and applications/databases of mine on the same server are running, so there doesn´t seem to be anything wrong in general.

I looked into the phpinfo output (which you can see attached) but couldn´t see any relevant confinements (short_open_tag is on, for example).

I also tested the user data and access to the database with a simple php script - I could connect without any problem.

Then I checked the files and folder privileges and set them to 755 for all documents within my osticket folder and subfolders.

Then I set the error reporting on as described in the installation documentation - but it didnt´t show anything different as was to be expected with the server not being able to respond properly.

And I looked into the server logfiles from my provider, but couldn´t find anything concerning the addresses I was calling here.

So now I don´t know where I could look any further. Do you have any ideas what could cause this error? I looked here in the forum and on Google, but it doesn´t seem to be a usual issue many other people have.

Any hints are really appreciated - be it a concrete solution or just ideas which privileges I could perhaps check and force to certain values...
