I have installed version 1.7.0 and we are having some trouble trying to make osticket work 100% perfect. I have tried to contact osticket team for porfessional support using their contact form and after more than a week from our first email and other email still no response from them at all :

So here is the email we sent them if anybody here is willing to provide professional support and be paid to do so (only experienced people in installing/configuring osticket please):

I already have installed osticket 1.7.0 in my server and most of the software works perfectly, but there are some problems that I cannot solve even using the help of the forums. You can see the installation here:

Most of the problems seem to be related to an ajax problem or misconfiguration in my server and I tried using the solutions described in the following forums with no result...

The errors that I have found in my osticket installation are:

** Cannot add canned responses in ticket replies. I select one and nothing happens. (I think is an ajax problem)

** Dashboard is always completely empty. (I think is an ajax problem)

** Tooltips do not work anywhere, they just show an empty bubble. (Ajax problem too I think)

** When I clic in Related tickets of a client a 500 server error appears. I think this is related to search function. For example, the following search url results in a 500 server error:

** This is not an error, but very annoying: most of the time when I reply to a ticket a javascript box appears saying that "is unable to acquire a lock on the ticket" even though I am the only one logged in the system. It happens 90% of the time.

** The "last updated" text at the end of every FAQ shows always the creation date of the faq and not the last updated.

** When a client logs in and sees his tickets as a list no phone number appears in the phone field even though he submits a phone number (the phone number appears in the ticket details page where the client can reply to it)

** Staff and department signatures are too short for my needs and they get truncated when I modify them. I checked the SQL field that stores them is a tynitext. If I change it to text, will any functionality of the software be affected?

And last, I tried yesterday to update the software to 1.7.1 but during the update the software says there was an error and could not finish the update so I had to restore my backup. Can you please, also update the software to 1.7.1?

I can give you acces to FTP and CPANEL of my server to make osticket work, but if you are going to make important changes on how the server is going to work, you will have to ask me first (I read in some forum that PHP.ini has to be modified to solve the ajax problem, etc.) as there are other scripts running in the server that could be affected.
