Am using Osticket l.7 and having trouble in finding a solution for this...

I have piped my support email to create ticket in OSTicket. If a customer replies to the ticket notification it appends with the ticket... but it is not happening with the staff... if a staff replies to the ticket it creates a new ticket...

Does somebody have any hack to achieve staff responding via email in osticket latest version ?

There were posts here in the mods section enabling this. Any of them pertaining to 1.7+ should point you in the right direction.

That being said.. we do not advise you to use the current mod for doing this sort of thing. This is a feature thats going to be implemented down the road and I do not think that it will be anything like the mod that was posted.
