Error with Amazon S3 Attachment Setup

To upgrade my "Store Attachment on File System" plugin to the latest version, should I just
(a) replace the .phar file on the server with the latest version?
OR
(b) disable plugin, replace file, enable plugin
OR
(c) Is there another recommended approach?

Option A is the recommended way. Just make sure you restart the webserver (Apache/LiteSpeed/IIS) and PHP-FPM (if you’re running it) to clear any file cache. PHARs are heavily cached server-side so make sure all cache is cleared to ensure the new PHAR is being loaded.

Also, just to clear up any confusion, the issue from your OP is it seems the build of S3 plugin you were attempting to use was not up-to-date so it was incompatible with PHP 8.1. With this in mind, you just need to download the latest build of the S3 plugin relevant to your osTicket version (1.16.x) from our website and try installing that instead.

I downloaded both the plugins from your website today - storage-fs.phar, storage-s3.phar0
Uploaded both the plugins to the server.
Restarted Apache & PHP-FPM
As soon as I refresh my browser with OSTicket > Admin Panel, I get the same error:

To me it seems like one of the plugins is not built for 1.16.x. Are you certain you chose v1.16.6 as the core version before selecting the plugins for download? If so it seems like maybe the site is serving one of the wrong versions of the plugins.

There are only 2 .phar files in the folder.
I have downloaded both the files today.
Can you confirm if the checksum I have mentioned matches with the checksum of the file on your server?

NOTE: Basis your email, I decided the download the whole v1.16.6 package again & upload only the *.phar files from the plugin folder but the download is broken it seems.
The download does not start automatically.
Clicking the redownload button is also not downloading the file.
I tried Chrome, Firefox, Firefox private mode & Edge.

You have to wait for the package to build and then push to the browser for download. Other times if it’s taking too long, try refreshing the page and try again.

KevinTheJedi This time it worked for me as well & it was instant. Not sure why it did not work previously.

I downloaded the zip file, extracted & uploaded just the 2 .phar files.
Restarted httpd & php-fpm & refreshed OSTicket page & I see "HTTP ERROR 500"
renamed storage-s3.phar to storage-s3.phar0
Refreshed & OSticklet shows the list page fine.

Like I said above it may be the packager serving an incorrect version of one of the plugins. I will try to look into this on Tuesday.
