ntozier , I set the price based on the time I spent building it.
SAML SSO feature is an enterprise feature. To be honest, I think that a company can afford 1-time payment of 150€, there are tons of services offering the SAML feature for 3$/month/user.
Do you think 50€/h is a good rate for a SAML expert with +10 years of experience (+18 coding)?.
I have other SAML extensions (commercial and free), for example, at Magento Marketplace I sell it for 299$ (https://marketplace.magento.com/sixtomartin-onelogin-module-saml2.html) and I have tons of happy customers.
Do you think is expensive to pay 150€ for an extension that I will maintain and keep compatible with new releases? May I set a lower price just because there are cheaper osTicket plugins (that fix a totally different functionality)? Then why https://supportsystem.com/pricing/ offers a cloud solution for 16$/agent/month when is cheaper to rent a dedicated server and host osTicket?
If people want SAML SSO for osTicket for free, there is a plugin (https://code.tf/thefarm/osticket-auth-saml), (which is made based on an open source php-saml library that I maintain), that works only for the Staff Login and its latest commit is from 2016 (so not sure if is compatible with the latest versions of osTicket).
I just saw some people trying to get SAML SSO osTicket working on this forum and wanted to offer them a supported solution.
