The same way that now is possible to edit agents posts ( on 1.10 ) , there could be an option to enable admins ( or specific agents ) to edit customer posts ( there may be a need to edit bad words or similar things) without the need to edit database tables.

My understanding is that in 1.10: Agents can edit their own posts, and Admins can edit any post in the thread.

/ntozier is correct, but just to be a little bit more correct:Any Agent / Admin that has the permission to edit any entry in a thread can edit the customer posts.(By default I guess this will only apply to Admins as @[deleted] already said)

It's hard to say either way since 1.10 isn't actually out yet so if can and might change.

I've already tested 1.10 and i'm aware of that ( didn't notice that customer posts were available). But i had the impression that the original post ( customer initial ticket) isn' t editable. Will it be this way ?

I don't actually remember.  Its been like a month since I looked at the 1.10 demo.I should really install a temp site with 1.10 ... guess ill go do that now.

Currently when I look at the 1.10 dpr I can tell you, that it will be editable - but you need to give the admins/agents permissions to do that. By default these permissions are NOT given, so agents can edit their own posts and other agents posts but not posts from the end user / client.
