There seems to be an issue with responding to tickets. I have a ticket which is now overdue and I am wanting to respond to it but there is no text area to type in my response. I have been able to respond to ticket previously but all I get now is a header summary. See attached fileThanksDanny

based on the fact that it isn't finishing displaying the form, I'm guessing that there is an error some where.  Please consult your PHP and Webserver logs and post any errors taht you may find here.

Hi jtaubmann, did you answer a ticket without closing it yesterday? I assume that my problem came up after doing that before the problem started.I did upgrade to 1.8.4 successfully - now the error does not appear anymore but all tickets blank when clicking on it. Database still filled with text so i assume that there is a sql error not retrieving information.

Are you using 1&1 for hosting?   Seems strange we both got the same error in a short time of each other

Yes, 1&1, assumed this with you as well looking at your error message ... but as this topic mentions "responding to open ticket" I had thissuspicion ... will try to recover from last week backup to find out if this works ... furthermore I cannot add new tickets ... the subject line will not written into database ... frustrating .... lot of unnecessary work

Hi,same problem with 1&1. After long search i found the solution.Go to you 1&1 Account and set at Hosting the PHP to Version 5.5. Then it works again. :)Sry for my bad english.Cya

Hi overtaked,+2 to you - you are the man ... bloody hell 1&1 ... Updated meanwhile to 1.9.2 and tested new ticketeverything fine, cheers and germany to win tonight :-)

Thanks all,   I have mine working now.   1&1 swear they did not change anything,  BUT the build date on the 5.4 PHP is the 2nd July 2014!
