I'm running into an error that seems to be new to version 1.18 (at least, it isn't present on 1.16).
I'm trying to add a mailbox using IMAP. The mail server is an on-prem Exchange 2019 (not Microsoft 365) hosted on the same LAN as osTicket, with no firewall between them. I get the following error when trying to configure authentication:
cannot connect to host; error = stream_socket_client(): Unable to connect to ssl://myserver:993 (Unknown error) (errno = 0 )
I can successfully telnet to port 993 from our osTicket server to our mail server. I've tried configuring the mail server in osTicket using IP address, internal hostname, and public DNS name, all to the same result.
I have another server running an completely independent instance of osTicket version 1.16, pointing to the same mail server, using the same account, and I can configure the IMAP mailbox in osTicket without error.
