I'm interested in adding this functionality, to track changes made to faq answers. A plugin could save to a backup database table but not sure it would be flexible enough to add an interface to see the changelog?

You can create Feature Requests on our GitHub repo using the Issues feature. I will say that we are not making any major changes to the current codebase as we are focusing the majority of our efforts in v2.0 (which is coming along amazingly btw). We are basically in a "maintenance phase" with the current (legacy) codebase.

We were aiming for the end of this year but may be early next year. We will see as we get closer to a beta version.
