i have tried different combination of settings but even though i couldn't get this connection to work .
the weired thing that SMTP is working fine and i can send emails from Osticket but for fetching the emails from the inbox its not working at all .

You need to contact your system's administrator and MS for further assistance. Either MS is blocking you or you have a firewall, etc. blocking the connection. Maybe you even have DNS issues? Who knows. This does not appear to be related to osTicket software at all, rather your server/setup.

I do have same problem , my server is local server and i am able to telnet to email server from Osticket server .
You are getting permission denied when attempting to connect. This typically means you’re being blocked by a firewall, etc. Reach out to the host for further assistance.
