This is already a thing. Go to your profile and change the Thread View Order setting.

Hey by default this setting is set to "system's default" but where is the system's default for thread order specified?
I can only find this configurable by agent but not globally..
This just means the System's default so just the default, standard behavior from the system which is oldest -> newest.

ah ok, because it appears in the same way as other settings where system's default can be configured...
and there was no note, apart from your message now as to what the default order is....
