I will mention that the current official plugins (even custom/3rd party plugins) will be completely obsolete once v2.0 is released.
KevinTheJedi Do you mean current plugins will need to be updated to work in v2?
From what Peter said on github I didn't think this would be the case?
"I took great pains to make sure the changes are backward compatible - so it shouldn't effect existing plugins. That said, I cannot be 100% sure since the custom plugins could be depending on undocumented calls or hooks etc."

He’s talking about v1.17 not v2.0.
