Hi Kevin,

Is there any update on v.17 for production ? Microsoft is going to disable legacy auth by 30th September, 2022. We are really in need to enable Auth for email boxes associated with our osticket helpdesk.

The cutoff is actually October 1, 2022. Anyways, we are still on track to have v1.17 stable released before the cutoff.

    Cheers.

    Hi Kevin,

I still do not see the production version of 1.17, we have only 1 day left - is there any further update?

Hi , as v1.17 has been released today, please confirm whether it can be directly upgraded from my current version (v1.15.4) or not? Though I tried upgrading it on my test environment first (the RC4 version) but upgrading the PHP to 8 or later breaks all its config and on browsing it is showing kind of garbage page. Please if someone could help? Below is the snap of the page showing.

I have refreshed the Test machine and upgrade again, this time //localhost/setup is working but when I click on Admin Panel the page redirects to //localhost/setup/settings.php and does not show anything.

I meant it redirects to //localhost/scp/settings.php and does not show anything.

Now I have tried upgarding again from scratch - followed the guide, it is showing me below error. Please help!!

yes thanks, it was the plugins error. I had to delete all the plugins then it worked. But now when I reinstalled the LDAP plugin, it does not look to work fine. firstly, for agent account, I have to manually add for LDAP authentication however, it was already preconfigured on previous version before migration. Also the already registered users are not able to login from ldap. Once they enter the password it again shows blank screen. In logs it is showing "Invalid CSRF Token".

I am having the very same issue - I also tried login with a new user as well as deleting a user from existing DB including its associated tickets and tried relogin in from it and from a new user, but the result remains same - showing a blank page. Seems like the LDAP plugin is not working for staff to create a ticket. regardless of existing user tried to login or a new user. Could someone please help?

Please help. It worked for Agents. But not working for staff. Even cannot signin from new LDAP user that was not already exist in osticket.

            Could somebody help here, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?

While trying on different browser - it is showing me this error.

It has been resolved - this time I used Php8.0 - previously it was 8.1 on which it was not working.

furthermore, I did not need to run mysql query to set backend for all users, it worked on its own by default.
