Hey guys,

I have been trying to setup OsTicket, and I have gotten to the stage where I navigate to http://192.168.10.115/setup/index.php(http://192.168.10.115/setup/index.php).

I am getting the error message

Configuration file is not writable

Configuration file permission settings

osTicket installer requires ability to write to the configuration file. A template copy of the file, ostconfig.php, is located on the root directory. Please follow the instructions below to give read and write access to the web server.

Shh/Telnet

chmod 777 ostconfig.php

FTP

Using WS_FTP this would be right hand clicking on the file ostconfig.php , selecting chmod, and then giving all permissions to the file.

Cpanel

Click on the file, select change permission, and then giving all permissions to the file.

The thing is, I have already setup the permissions on the file

As you can see, the permissions are ok, but I still cannot get the installation to continue. Am I looking at the right file? Any push in the right direction is appreciated.

Edit: Also, I cannot find the log file to see what is going on. So I am getting really confused.
