  • When requesting a pw reset, the plaintext mail breaks the pwreset url into two lines, which depending on the mail client will break the token:(the mail text itself is sent with base64, so wrapping the text isn't really necessary I assume, it would work with either base64 or quoted-printable)Follow the link below to login to the help desk and change your password.Your friendly Customer Support System The text is hidden by most email clients that show the html version instead, but if you set your client to prefer the plaintext version, the broken url showsI assume this is a function implemented in the mail sender.Server Information

  • ok, the english template files are not evaluated either, then I'll try to change the db entries

  • fair enough, I think I will just overwrite the english template files for now and wait for a finished version.

  • I have installed osticket 1.9.4 and installed a language file for de. This works for the web pages ok, however it looks like the mail texts are not localized.I assume that the settings for each user do not apply to the mails generated (and they shouldn't), but I didn't find any setting to set the default language for the whole system. Assuming that agents may use another language that the target language of the mails, that would be useful (e.g. if the agent is english speaking, but is replying to tickets in another language, e.g. with canned responses).a sample reply looks like this (I have set my language to de in this case).-- reply above this line --Dear Alexander Lehmann,Hi Alexander,Your ticket #136627 created on 11/28/2014 12 am is in Support department.Your test Team,Support DepartmentWe hope this response has sufficiently answered your questions. If not, please do not send another email. Instead, reply to this email or login to your account for a complete archive of all your support requests and responses.the elements marked are not localized, but should be.My 2nd question would be if the elements can be changed (if they are localized or not) on the admin pages, otherwise it would be possible to extract the phar and change the files directly.
