When a user creates a new ticket, if they enter a new phone number that is different from the number they used previously, the new number is not saved on the user contact record. Our users do not manage their accounts on the osTicket helpdesk. Is there a way to allow the contact details to be updated when the ticket is created?

Its ignored because they already create themselves an account when they opened their first ticket.
