Issue 1: Somehow during the migration NEW tickets coming from IMAP account are getting flagged as Ticket Denied. "Ticket rejected (email @ address) (unregistered client). This MIGHT not be a problem, as normally people do not email the tickets in, they go through the OSTicket interface. | Is there somewhere I need to look to change this rejection?

Issue 2: I put in a test ticket on the new system. When I get the "ticket opened" email with a link to view the process ... it doesn't work. By that I mean you click the link provided you are directed to the site but get an error message of "Account confirmation required" | Any ideas what might be causing this? Did I miss something?

I've been awake way too many hours, and probably have forgotten something basic. Apologies if I have.

    Also popping up in the new system ... when a user requests a link to their ticket, the link that is sent to them is not working.

    I get the view.php page, with the ?auth=<variable> but it simply directs to the "check ticket status" page, and says,
    "Account confirmation required"

    If anyone can point me in the right direction, it'd be appreciated.

    1.12 is really old (You should really upgrade) and I do not have a 1.12 installation to check this, but I do not think that it has moved very far so...

    go to Admin panel -> Settings -> Users
    If you have Registration Required enabled then users will need to register for an account .. not doing so will result in the rejection that you are mentioning.

    Sounds like the user account has not been confirmed in osTicket.

    Just to follow up ... I have no idea what was going on.
    Shortly after I posted the messages things seemed to work out. Others were able to put in their ticket, and the link in the email reply worked. It must have been something with a migration issue that was either not done (and me not knowing) or ... uh, sunspots?

    (and any upgrade has to wait until the new year. Ugh)

    Should I mark this thread as resolved and close the thread?
