Hi, my client is getting reports from users about 403 errors when trying to open a ticket - it comes after the form's been filled in and the user clicks 'Create ticket'.

I had a chat with one user who was getting the error but it worked ok in an incognito window but the same solution didn't work for another user.

Please help us to help you by reading and following the posting guidelines located in this thread: Please read before requesting assistance. The more information you give us the better we will be able to assist you. Thank you.

Environment details? (see Admin panel -> Dashboard -> Information)

I am getting the 403 error after filling out the form and when I press "Create Ticket" instead of sending the ticket I get the 403 error.
This is the page: https://support.ifi-audio.com/open.php
I am doing it from a Mac, I have already tried it from Edge, Chrome and Safari and I still have the problem even after having cleared the cache.

    LiteSpeed is not a supported webserver of osTicket. While you can likely make it work I have never used it and would not be able to assist you in figuring out why you are getting a 403 (forbidden) error. Although I find it likely that this is a case of permissions not being correct some where.

    Ricard managed to open a ticket in an incognito tab and also on a different device (his phone) I think. He will be able to confirm exactly.

    RE LiteSpeed: How likely do you think it is that this is the problem, given that:

    1. We've been using it for approx 2 years now and only recently started getting reports of these errors
    2. Some people who've reported the errors have found a solution by simply opening a ticket in a new, Incognito tab (although this didn't work for others)
    3. Some people reporting the error, found the ticket system worked on a different device (their phone) but using the same WiFi network
    4. I can try to find a host that isn't running LiteSpeed, but it's a fairly big deal to temporarily close our support system and pull down a 2.5GB database to move it somewhere if you're not 100% certain that's the issue

    @jimbolgs

    You should check your error logs for any related errors (LiteSpeed error logs, php error logs, mysql error logs, browser console logs, and osTicket system logs).

    Cheers.
