Specs of a fresh server 2019:
I'm currently running into issues trying to setup email and I can't get it to work. Trying to connect to our local exchange 2016 server. I haven't had any issues with getting other applications working (Dokuwiki, Lansweeper, printers, etc).
For fetching I receive a timeout error: Can't connect to our.exchange.server,993: Timed out
For sending via SMTP, I get this for ports 587 or 465: authentication failure [SMTP: STARTTLS failed (code: 220, response: 2.0.0 SMTP server ready)]
For port 25 I get: authentication failure [SMTP: SMTP server does not support authentication (code: 250, response: our.exchange.server Hello [server.ip.address] SIZE 37748736 PIPELINING DSN ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES 8BITMIME BINARYMIME CHUNKING)]
I stripped out some personal information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
