I have created a custom list (countries) that I have added on the user profile information and which I have also added to my tickets as custom field.
I am trying to have that field automatically filled in on the ticket when the end-user creates the ticket. Is this something that is possible, to link the two together?
FYI: Tickets are created by email.

So for example, my end-user who is based in Thailand (and has it selected on his/her profile) would create a new ticket by sending an email to the support email address, and OST would automatically select Thailand for the related custom field.

Right now, agents would have to manually select Thailand in the ticket page.

If you want information filled in on ticket creation then the field should be added to the Ticket Details form.

Adding a field to the Contact Information form would result in the user having to select it when their account is created.

    Hey ntozier thanks for getting back, so I have added this field both to the user profile and ticket form, my question was if it would be possible to fill this field on the ticket form based on what has already been filled on the user profile?

    As per the example stated above, I created a country field both present on the user profile and the ticket form, and based on the user profile (already created and filled with the country) I want to collect that info and automatically pre-fill the country field of the ticket form..
