We are trying to move to a setup where users are required to have an account and log in, but we are having issues with vanilla installations of 1.14.x and 1.12.x to get the login feature to work. In short, when a valid user logs in, the user remains in /login.php in a logged out state, but the logs show a successful log in.

If you have restricted users in this way (which I would believe is a very common way to do it), and you can spare a couple minutes, please let me know how you did it.

Here are our details:
osTicket Version v1.14.2 (cba6035) — Up to date
Web Server Software Apache
MySQL Version 8.0.15
PHP Version 7.3.12

Thank you!

@agco

You will need to review ALL of the error logs for any related errors. You will need to review the Apache error logs, PHP errror logs, MySQL error logs, osTicket system logs, and browser console logs.

Cheers.
