Hi Community,
is it possible that the whole department will be informed :

  • by task creation
  • by answering the task?
    In my opinion i checked all boxes for notification.

The available alerts and Notices for Tasks are at:
Admin panel -> Settings -> Tasks
Click on the "Alerts & Notices" tab.

For the New Task alert, you'll have to apply this patch:

As for posting a Reply, that should always be sent out to the configured Recipients. Maybe the Agents' alerts are disabled per Department or maybe the Department Alert Recipients are not configured properly? Is there a person assigned to the Task? Is there a Department Manager?

This is the config of the department:

The Tasks are only assigned to the department not to the agent. In the agent configuration, i did not see any possibility to configure the notifications. Also the department manager will not be notified - simply nobody...
The notification by the tickets works perfectly well.

Did you apply the patch that Kevin posted for you?

    no not yet because he said the notification for answering of the task should work

    I applied it now. The notification by new tasks works now perfectly. But answering is still not working.
