I am running the current setup:

  • osTicket Version: v1.14.1 (f1e9e88) — Up to date
  • Web Server Software: Apache/2.4.6 (CentOS) OpenSSL/1.0.2k-fips PHP/5.6.40
  • MySQL Version: 5.5.64
  • PHP Version: 5.6.40

All PHP extensions are installed. When, I am creating an agent. The agent does not receive any welcome email. When, I press on Set Password while creating the agent, no emails are sent if I choose Send the agent a password reset email. Apache log file is not showing anything.
The agent himself/herself cannot reset the password if the value of that field in the database is NULL

    Are other emails working correctly?

    Is there some reason why you are running a version of PHP that reached end of life Dec 2018?

    Are you seeing any errors in your PHP error log?

      Welcome email for agents have not worked at least since 2017 when I began using this software. During that time, I found multiple forum threads with others complaining of the same. It's an osticket issue.

      As a work around, I send agents a password reset email as soon as I set up their account, as that gives them login details and ability to set their password, but it sounds like you're having problems with reset emails, too.

        You did not actually answer any of my questions.
