Hello, the Attachments Plug-In creates in the attachments folder too many 0 bytes files, this makes the ftp backup process takes too much time checkin that files, why this happen? What can I do to fix it?

By example, my attachments/C folder has 5860 files, only 236 has size > 0, 5624 0 bytes size.

Thank you.

Delete them?

I don't know why it would create 0 size files. Maybe the system has problems writing files?

Version of osTicket?
Version of PHP?
Webserver software?
Version of the Attachmens:Filesystem plugin?

I would agree with @ntozier in that it must be having issues writing files as it's supposed to be writing the entire file contents. Each file is supposed to match the size of the actual attachment it corresponds to.

    Cheers.

    Hello,
    osticket 1.10.1
    Attachmens:Filesystem 0.3
    PHP 5.6
    webserver linux-cpanel

All 0 bytes filename ends with _vlWAYkK_YBwk

There are about 300.000 zero bytes in filesystem, my cpanel dies finding and deleting them.

The attachments are saving and working fine, the problem are the others junks files that difficult the backup process.

If you cant delete them using the web ui, then try using the filesystem (via telnet, ftp, ssh, or sftp). Which ever way you have of accessing the files.
