Hey, new forum looks great!
Just noticed that links don't render as clickable in old posts, not sure about new, let's find out:
Example broken post:
looks like the broken links are fixed
I notice search not working, I am sure dev teams are working on fixing the bugs on the new platform
Awesome. (sarc) I'll let the devs know.
Searching works, you just have to be logged in first.
Strange, it shows results, but still displays "You do not have permission to do that"
I just tested while logged in and without searching for temp data (maybe cache)
using Google Chrome Version 69.0.3497.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)
URL shows: https://forum.osticket.com/?q=temp%20data
/api/users?filter%5B…page%5Blimit%5D=5:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 401 ()
Strange...works for me just fine...?
I get this when i search
That's the kind of errors I was getting too
Also, am I missing or you can not send a private message to another user on this new forum platform?
Great question. Private messaging is not added yet because, on this forum, everything is an extension. I don't like the current extension available (not built out well) so we will wait until there is a better one, extend the current one available, or develop our own on our own time.
no problem, looks, and feel is a lot better for sure, keep up the good work, Thank you
I guess permission part fixed, search does work, I am still getting this message "Oops! Something went wrong. Please reload the page and try again."
I believe I fixed the searching errors now. Stupid hidden permission
Looks much better.
I see that too now as I created my own "User" account for testing. I think it's the backend searching API that fails on certain keywords in the Discussions. Users and Posts searching works fine but the API fails on Discussions (Network tab in Chrome). Looking deeper into this
As a side note @Grizly posted a link to this thread:
This thread is a list and used to contain a number of links to other resources (some official plugins, 3rd party plugins, useful resources, etc.) Now all the links are gone.
