Hi, I have added a custom field in the form of ticket details and in field config, i have checked "Require entry to close a thread". The problem is that in some of my topics, i have unchecked this field because i don't need it, but I still get a message that ticket can not close because field is required. Also i noticed today that if an agent creates a new ticket in backend, add summary and responce, select ticket status Closed, without selecting value for custom required field and press the "Open" button to create the ticket, then ticket is created but responce is not added in ticket threads or sent to customer. If i select a value for the "required to close" field before submitting the ticket, then response is added and sent to customer.regardsGeorge

replicatable bugs should be reported on git hub.https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket/issues/newI'm pretty sure that the no email on opening a closed ticket is on purpose though.
