When looking at the tickets list you can Claim a ticket fine but if I want to assign to another agent it brings up a blank window, i assume there is something wrong with the tickets.php?

Do you have cgi.fix_pathinfo set to 1 in your php settings?

Here is a screenshot from the Information tab. I've already set the cgi.fix_pathinfo to 1, hasn't helped. So far it's the only thing not working.

I'm having this exact same issue. Ajax works everywhere else on the site, and actually works on this one too because it's showing "Loading" but then goes to a blank page. if i follow the link in console it takes me to a page that says "claim selected ticket are you sure you want to CLAIM selected ticket? but has no yes or no" I've attached the error that chrome shows in the console as well as my osticket info. I'm unable to claim or assign tickets to anywhere. Version 1.10.1
Apparently your attach file stuff doesn't workhttps://imgur.com/a/Mjq8m
Try downgrading to PHP 5.6
Same issue on 5.6 just tested it.
I assign tickets to people multiple times a day, 5 days a week. I run 1.10.1 so....
the fact that yours works doesn't solve mine not working. i'm not necessarily saying that there's a core issue with 1.10.1 i'm saying there's an issue with mine. hence me and this other person being here trying to find solutions. I've followed the installation instructions on a fresh VM and the issue exists so i need to find a solution.
@[deleted] I understand that. This however is not your thread, and the opener has not provided us with anything to assist them with troubleshooting their issue. The two of you are not running the same version and do not have the same environment. I would counsel you to open your own thread and post your information in it, but I see that you have already opened your own thread.@[deleted]:error logs?server os?web browser?etc.
@[deleted] i found a solution to my issue which i believe is similar to yours, here's my POST
sorry guys been absent for a while. @[deleted] thank you so much for that fix, worked perfectly for me.
