Hi Ntozier,I am using Firefox. It only happens sometimes. Oddly enough, when I signed in today this comment field was populated with my exact same message that i last posted. Odd stuff. Where you able to see my original question in this thread?Thank you,j

No. There is no text in the original post. The forums save drafts of what people type in I have that happen to me fairly often (but then I am also on the forums 5-6 days a week).

My question is about setting up the email fetching. I think to set up email fetching I have to go Admin > Emails > Emails > select the email account and in the "Fetching Email via IMAP or POP" section and tick the Enable button. Then in Admin > Settings > Emails in the "Incoming Emails" section I also have to tick the Enable option. Now, in this same section if I do NOT tick the Fetch on auto-cron option I must use an external cron job to fetch emails right?Or, I can tick the Fetch on auto-cron option and osticket will use its internal cron option to fetch the emails. Is that correct?Thank you,j

Is that correct?A: Yes. But it only triggers when staff are logged in and active.

Ok, so click both Enables and then decide to use auto cron or an external cron. Got it. Thank you.j

Yup. You should really use cron though. auto cron is not recommended.
