Web Server Software: ApacheMySQL Version: 5.5.33PHP Version: 5.4.25We were encouraged by OSTicket representative to upgrade to this version to solve for channel identification issues, but it appears that Filter Rules is not functional (?).  We are able to edit existing filters, but cannot add any new filter rules or create any new filters.  As Filter Rule functionality was a key element in our choosing this system, and automated ticket sorting is a key factor in our business efficiencies, I need to know whether there is a fix/suggestion to solve for this within our current environment and/or when a version update will be available which will provide a fix.  Please advise ASAP.Martin Fountain - DerbySoft

"We were encouraged by OSTicket representative"I'm not real sure what this actually means."but it appears that Filter Rules is not functional (?)"I'm not sure why you would say that.  This works fine in my two test installations of 1.10rc2. Can you perhaps describe or provide the error you are getting, or maybe a screen shot? Are you running XAMPP or SELinux? Are you running any thing that blocks javascript?Perhaps this is your issue? (solution in thread)https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket-1.8/issues/2472

Thanks ntozier:We spoke with an OSTicket representative in December regarding some filter/channel definition issues we were having in an earlier version, and she encouraged us during that discussion to upgrade to the1.10rc2 version.  It solved the issues we initially discussed, so it was a good suggestion in that regard.Since upgrading, the "Add New Rule" button is non-functional when attempting to define a new filter.  It does not generate an error of any sort, but it does not open any of the associated rule definitions, and I am thus unable to save any new filter.  The button/click works perfectly within an existing filter panel - so a "copy" or "clone" existing filter would be a great option, but I'm not able to create any new filters so I'm having difficulty adding new client relationships into the tool.I'll need to f/u with our network folks on the XAMPP/SELinux and javascript questions, and will take a look at the link you've provided.  Hopefully those questions will lead us to a solution.

We have the same issue - nothing happens when you go to add a new filter rule.Page just freezes mid load.

@[deleted] you should probably start your own thread if you are having an issue.
