I have been having problems with the email templates and getting them to look exactly as we wanted. Words would randomly change formatting, or the special links would not work, even at one point all special characters became encoded so the variables stopped working, and you can't do colours, fonts, or sizes with it.I ended up editing the templates into the database, and then later needed to paste some extra information into the email templates, which I hadn't noticed that I seemed to have had a draft saved version, which then overwrote all of my changes. I had to go though them again and manually edit the database to achieve what we wanted. I would love to have the ability to just edit the html by way of a textarea control, rather than anything fancy.

Why didn't you then switch to the HTML view?Just hit the following looking button when editing an osTicket email template:  <>

I never had that issue ... I have some pretty advance table in my email template. Word of advice DO NOT USE <div> tags :)This may give you a good start worked for me.https://github.com/Hyperdaemon/TCAT-M-osTicket-Email-Templates
