Hi all,i'm trying without results... sure i'm doing wrong something.This company has 4 departments (Creative, Marketing, Project Managers, Finance). We will offert support to each department, but they will have distinct categories and one department will not see the categories of the others.is it possible?if yes, how?thanks all

osTicket does not have Categories, so I'm not real sure what you mean.Members of a Department cannot see other tickets that belong to other Departments.Also and generally you want to include the version of osTicket that you are running.

in italian version the name is the translation of "category". I mean the topics that appears into combobox of the new ticket page. i want that some topics can be shown only to some users.hope you understand, sorry for my english :/

I guess what you mean are called "help topics" in English and currently osTicket cannot show specific help topics only to specific users and not to others. You'd have to modify the source code to achieve this.

ntozier, This is like the 5th or more request i have seen for this and I have only been reading the forums for like an hour. Do you guys group all of these similar request together to track them ? Do you guys have some type of internatl counter to the times a certain type of request is made ?

I report ideas and problem threads to the devs daily.
