gmail account configuration problem.

Hi, there. I installed Osticket v1.9.8 on Ubuntu server with apache 2.4.7 and Mysql 5.5.4I created an email account to use on the Osticket system. This a gmail account. I decided to use the POP mail option on it. I typed all gmail account configuration to use this option. Hostname: pop.gmail.comPortnumber: 995However, the system sends back the following error:POP3 connection broken in responseAny ideas to solve this problem?Thanks in Advance.

Hi,are you using the "pop + ssl" or "pop" setting? Gmail requires SSL, so if you only have the POP option selected, try changing it to POP + SSL

Have you gone into your gmail settings and allowed that protocol?Log into GMailClick Gear -> Settings -> Forwarding and POP/IMAP -> check POP Download settings
