I decided to launch my own discussion on this.  I am running OSTicket 1.9.5.1 and have just enabled the Attachment Plugin, requesting that it stores to the filesystem.  I can see the folder and file being uploaded to the directory created but I dont seem to be able to load any attachment.Everytime I click on the attachment link I get an error page from my 1&1 host.  On closer investigation I noticed that the page being loaded was host\scp\attachment.php.  However when I look at the folder structure I cant find an attachment.php file.  I downloaded the .ZIP install media so I decided to check on GitHub for a copy of attachment.php and also cant find it there. Can someone please confirm that I am not chasing my tail on this...Thanks.

My installation has a \scp\attachment.phpThe official github repo however does not.It was not in 1.9.5 either. It is in 1.9.4.I dont really have time to look at this any deeper atm.

Thanks for the update, my next step was going to be searching back through the various versions until I found a copy.

Ok so i downloaded http://osticket.com/sites/default/files/download/osTicket-v1.9-latest.zip, got attachment.php and uploaded it to the SCP directory. However when I now run it I get an error message saying secure.inc.php is missing.  I have searched in the .ZIP file and also cant find secure.inc.php.

Attachment.php was removed in 1.9.x (don't know exactly)https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket-1.8/issues/1530

It seems that having replaced my complete instance with the contents of osTicket-v1.9-latest.zip (which I downloaded on Feb 20) the attachment element is now working.

Is there some reason why you wouldn't have completely replaced your instance with complete contents of the .zip archive?
