All,

We're going to move away from a product called HEAT.

Yet something my guys love is we can create quick calls or template calls. i.e. Machine Builds. Within these templates, the  call description  essay/checklist is all preconfigured.

Details can be altered on a call by call bases, yet the basic text is there.

Can OST do this, thus I don't have to keep writing the essay for multiple calls?

Don't know exactly what you mean, but if I get it right you mean something like "predefined answers", which is possible in osTicket. You can define a so called "canned response" inside osTicket and use that response template (to answer users requests) so that you do not need to write the same answer over and over again.

I think what you mean is called "Forms".This way you can set up predefined fields that you can fill when you create a ticket. For example: ticket in the category computer failure have to fill in the fields computername and officenumber.Check this page:http://osticket.com/blog/93

    Thanks all.

I think forms may be what I'm after. I'll check it out.

Yes I do agree with rednax's answer. I think you no need to create essay for multiple calls if you find a perfect solution. If you have any writing related queries then you can go through with custom essay writing service, they will give you some better ideas. I have used them many times.

The first question is about the template. If you are looking for the opportunity like the following, it is better to make sure, that every part is connected to the mentioned one.
