Hello,I'm using the latest, 1.8.01. I've found that when somebody sends us an html email with links through OST, it's doing something to re-write those links, so that they don't work, and look like this:http://www.kellytours.com/HelpDesk/scp/l.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fr20.rs6.net%2Ftn.jsp%3Fe%3D0018h5npYW8yp1UEKFhmuslS65-an8rihU_sUktS3Bq14Ur_JIed4x3OVdJa-LFC-0aKyNBkaVbB58MgeDjR9JLfLALqgqO5drWhgVpDqmm5xnvWpMCAvHJF5rin9GDkkqy&auth=cc0701e3aa09ac79dbaa0537b1cbe76eIf I click on that link, I get Error 403 Forbidden, and it suggests that an .htaccess update may be in order, but does not say what I should be set to.Anybody got any ideas on the fix for this? Thanks in advance!--Jon

1.8.0.1 isn't the latest.  1.8.0.2, 1.8.0.3 and 1.8.1 are all newer.  You may want to upgrade.Your reported issue may be similar or the same as the one reported here: https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket-1.8/issues/600 which is currently being looked at.

Well, I see you're right about the version! Seems like I just installed this yesterday.Yes, my issue is very similar to that one you referenced, plus this one, as well, which suggests that it's a mod_security issue, they just didn't post the actual solution:http://www.forum.osticket.com/d/discussion//links-don-t-take-user-to-actual-url-send-to-403-page What I'd like to know is why the heck OST is rewriting the links at all? Seems like there should be an option to turn that off... I don't need it fixed, I'd rather it was gone.--J

Facing same issue. How do I fix this URL re-writing or wrapping issue?

@[deleted]: My understanding is that its a security feature.  You could suggest that there be a way to prevent this re-writing and they may listen.@[deleted]: You might want to participate in the conversation on github trying to solve the problem.

same problem with links in messages - placing a link in a response to the client is useless as they get ERROR 403 - FORBIDDEN  (v1.8.1.2)
