My situation is a bit different from most others here. We currently don’t have a ticketing system in place and are in the market for one. osTicket 1.18 is not for us, but the upcoming 2.0 release looks very promising.
I understand you’re hesitant to provide an ETA (which is completely understandable), but I was hoping you could shed some light on the coming weeks or months. I have no issue starting with RC1, anything is better than having no ticketing system at all.
That being said, we're nearing decision time and I would hate to purchase an alternative solution only to find one week later that osTicket 2.0 was released. Are we talking weeks or months until RC1? And will RC1 be a public release, or invite-only?
