How dashboard works

Hi, i'm trying to know how the dashboard works because it's a little confusing. I want to see the movements that I made today (deletes, creations, etc.), but I only can see changes from one or more days ago. I've read that the panel hasn't always worked well, but those are old discussions.

For example there aren't the movements today, only from yesterday backwards. I've tried to configure the autocron but I couldn't

What do you mean? The stats are real-time up to current time when using the "Up to today" period. Maybe you don't have access to the other Departments so you aren't seeing all the stats? You should enable the stats permission on your Agent account (Admin Panel > Agents > Agents > click your name > Permissions > Miscellaneous > enable "Stats" > Save Changes) and reload the dashboard to see if that changes things.

I've just give my admin permissions to see the statistics, but the problem is that the dashboard is not showing the changes that I've made today. Today I've closed 16 tickets to see the changes in the panel, but I can only see 1 ticket closed. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. But, if I set the period to one quarter, it shows the total tickets closed, but with the yesterday's date (2025-11-18), not 2025-11-19.

Hmm, I’m not able to replicate this. If I go close a ticket right now it reflects immediately in the dashboard. Maybe your time zone is off or something? What is your PHP time zone, server time zone, MySQL system_time_zone, MySQL time_zone, osTicket system time zone, and agent profile time zone?

Today is 25th October, but the last records were from 19th, even I re-opened and re-closed a ticket today, but there is no info about that at first glance at the dashboard.

I would recommend that you upgrade to v1.17.6 or v1.18.2 and retest.

Hmm, then it should be fine. I tested with that as well as v1.18.2 and it worked in both cases. It sounds like something may be going on with your date formats or something similar. I can clearly see the range on the bottom of the screenshot say “October 25 - November 25, 2025”. So it is going the range but the graph doesn’t reflect the date on the lower plots. At this point I feel like you’ll need to debug the code base to see what’s going on. You can look at include/class.report.php for all reporting functionality and plot data.

Besides that, I've just downloaded the 1.18 version, but it stills running bad. I've closed two tickets and it shows the yesterday date

Anyway, I'll try to depurate class.report.php.

Your screenshot shows “One Quarter” period. Try “Up to today” period. This is what mine looks like:

I would also encourage you to try in English to ensure it’s not the language pack messing things up.

Your screenshot shows it correctly now. I can see the date on the plot goes to 11-28-2025 and the data stops between 11-25-2025 and 11-28-2025 which is 11-26-2025 which is the correct date.

Hi. Look, this is the dashboard today (nov-28).

it shows 2 closed tickets today, but look at this (it shows 'Cerrados - Hoy' because I've edited it myself):

I didn't close any ticket neither yesterday nor today.

This are the tickets closed this week:

One on tuesday nov 25th and two on wednesday nov 26th, but not today.

Are you maybe seeing stats from all Departments but you don't actually have access to those Departments? Because you can have a permission that allows you to see stats of other Departments whilst not actually having access to them to see the actual Tickets in your queues, etc.

I do have full acces to every department, every team and I have the permissions.

Maybe I have to debug the code (I didn't try yet) that you told me.

Yea because I cannot replicate this and you are running locally hosted osTicket so I don't have visibility on your system. So at this point you'd need to debug the code to see what's going on.
