Hey,

I've been thinking I'd quite like to have an email template set for a help topic that relates to a periodic test that end users can do to confirm if a safety device is working or not.

Let say I'd like to send an email each year to remind users to test their smoke alarm by pressing the test button.
It would be great to have two buttons within the email saying:

  1. YES it worked
  2. NO it's faulty

Even if the buttons could just send a reply back to the helpdesk ticket with this response it would be great to have a one-click confirmation, allowing the helpdesk owner to close the ticket with a record of the check or address any fault.

Anyone tried anything like this or have any ideas on how best to set it up?

That would require something to receive and parse the request like an API which we do not have. You would definitely need to write your own script for this.

    Cheers.
