Unable to change recipient

Hello,

We are facing an issue with certain tickets. Unfortunately, I am unable to reproduce the problem, and the trigger for this bug remains unknown.

Bug description:
When changing a recipient, the validation window greys out, making any clicks impossible.

To regain control, it is necessary to refresh the page. I have attempted this using a different browser, but the issue persists.

I have attached screenshots of the steps taken.

(As you can observe in the last screenshot, it is greyed out.)

Have you encountered this issue before?

Are there any logs that I can check for this?

You would need to check all possible logs (general server logs, webserver error logs, PHP error logs, MySQL/MariaDB error logs, osTicket System Logs, Browser Console logs, etc.) for any related errors.

I think that I am confused.
I do not see anything greyed out in the last image...

You would just click on one of the two buttons.

Hello,

At first, I checked the logs without finding anything. However, a workaround exists to modify this by directly using the "Edit" button.

If anyone else encounters the same issue as me, I'm open to suggestions.

Here you have a screen when it works (not grayed out) :

And here, when it doesn't works (grayed out) :

As you can see, the second screen is slightly greyed. And in this case, i can't do anything. Can't click on OK or cancel.
Then i have to refresh my browser to get the control back.

You do have mods applied which could be interfering. You would need to test this on a completely vanilla instance of osTicket to see if you can replicate the issue.

To me it looks like something is overlaying the page or maybe an issue with the mod's code.

Sorry i didn't specified that i made the test by the vanilla instance (doing shift + o on the page). And also have this bug.
Despite this, is it still possible that osticket awesome is causing this?

I don't know what you mean by "Shift + O". Vanilla osTicket means core, unmodified osTicket. Meaning no mods or customizations applied.

By using Shift+O on osticket awesome, i can switch in vanilla osticket. And in this config, i also have the bug.

That's not what I mean... You'll need to make a completely separate vanilla osTicket install and test there. Even though you are "switching to vanilla" the codebase will still be modified.

Ok i see.
Unfortunately, i'm not able to reproduice this problem, even in my environment. It's random.
Well, we will continue with our "workaround".

If i figure out how to reproduce the problem or solution, i will come and update this post.
