It’s unable to connect to that host and port via TLS. You’ll have to check your error logs, firewall, blocked port, etc.

KevinTheJedi Hello Kevin, we checked all the ports and firewall, nothing is blocked. Our server is Centos 7 with iPage. We contacted iPage support and they said we should contact Microsoft. Microsoft is not very helpful. Also iPage support suggested to use 465 port with and without tls:// and now we get following errors.

Just smtp.office365.com and port 465 should be fine although I would recommend port 587. Anyways, it seems like it can’t verify the SSL certificate. Do you have a self-signed certificate or something for the website?

Certificate is from Sectigo Ltd and is valid.

rohail This is the CA cert. Check if the server cert isn't expired, and the CN matches the name of the server.

Dear @KevinTheJedi @TonyO Thank you for the help.

I found this in WHM and disabled it

After that, I was able to save the settings

However now I am getting 500 Internal server error on replying / posting internal note / creating new ticket.

Also, Email fetching is not being done.

For email fetching you need to follow this documentation:

As for the 500 error that is a generic error that indicates a deeper issue elsewhere. You need to check your logs (general server logs, webserver error logs, PHP error logs, MySQL/MariaDB error logs, osTicket System Logs, Browser Console logs, etc.) for any related errors.

We downgraded PHP from 8.1 to 8.0 as suggested by some other thread but still the same error.

That means you don't have the php-iconv extension installed/enabled. Please research guides online on how to install and enable this extension.

I installed it through WHM and it works now. Thanks...
Also I had to add a cron for email fetching. Everything works fine now.
