osTicket Inventory Manager Plugin
m-law Currently, assets need to be assigned to users. I believe it would be possible to add the ability to assign to an organization. I'm planning a re-work for asset assignments in the future so I will be sure to add this to the list of things that need to be done for that re-work. Thanks for the idea!
jiggs This is a great idea! I have considered creating something like this. Additionally, I've done some research into being able to pull info from a domain/Azure AD which is another possibility. There's some other functionality I'd like to build into the plugin before rolling out a feature like this, but this is definitely something I'd love to add to the plugin in the future.
v1.17.2 is stable for plugins. You can take a look at the Audit log plugin to see how it registers, etc. We had to back-port that functionality as Audit still uses the old way as well (with some minor tweaks). We will be redoing this plugin in the future but not any time soon so the back-ported functionality should remain the same for a good bit.
Cheers.
KevinTheJedi I see. I believe this is the answer I've been looking for. The plugin works fine in 1.17, it's just the installation triggers that I haven't figured out. Thanks for pointing me in the write direction!
Hi,
I am trying to Import and Export the Asset, but it return 400 error.
is there a way to add more forms to the inventory system? so we can have more then just hardware and phone forms?

Just wanted to poke my nose in here and see if support is there for 1.17, or if anyone has got this plugin working with 1.17.
thanks.
After following steps. my osticket won't load. it says error 500.
This is a 3rd party mod that has nothing to do with core osTicket. I will close those thread as this is not a support forum for mods.
Cheers.
