Firstly thank you for looking at this trail of destruction.

I hope you could possibly assist.

Long story short, a client of ours had their old web dev guy design the website as well as the ticketing site.
As you can probably guess they went out of business and have not done maintenance in years.... Also the now falls on me to save their ass!!!

Secondly I am a newbie when it comes to osTickets, so please excuse any silly questions.

And now to the crux of the matter.

Ticket system is down, php version has been updated on the hosting side and is apparently no longer able to downgrade it. I have the passwords etc now but no luck at all accessing the backend of OSTicket.

I have pulled the files from the FTP server. But am unsure of what version it was running on and even how to begin installing it to try and get the tickets.

Would I be able to recover the user info, tickets and then upgrade the hosting side and then migrate the data?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
