My ticket queue shows a wront number of tickets

Hi all,

I have a ticket queue that lists tickets with specific values in some custom fields.
One of them is showing a wrong number of tickets.
It displays 23 tickets in the list but shows a ticket number of 34 in the bottom right.
It also shows 34 in the menu when I hover over "Closed" where my queue is located.

I tried it with an advanced search querying the same fields and this also displays 23 as a result.
So I would guess 23 is correct but why does it show a number of 34 then.
Very strange.

Any idea what could be the reason or how I could debug this?

I tried deleting ost__search as I thought it might be corrupted.
But I think that one is not even involved here.
Furthermore it broke my system as the table was not automatically recreated which I thought it would.
So I restored a backup.

Ups, I forgot to include the image.
I am using osTicket (Awesome) 1.15.3.1 by the way but tried it in the old system as well (as you see on the screenshot) and its the same there.

That is a known issue. I believe that the Devs plan to remedy that in the 2.0 release.

So there is no cricual issue with my installation and no tickets lost or something, just the number is wrong?

My answer does not rule out any critical issues or lost tickets in your system. It does however rule it out for the reason that you cited. 🙂
