My users usually report problems to me with email, whatsapp and telegram.
I can associate a mailbox to OST, but is there a way to also associate Whatsapp and Telegram so that messages from certain numbers go to create a ticket?
Thank you in advance.

You would have to add a custom field to the Ticket Details form.
And then you (or another agent) would have to manually update the field on the ticket.

I didn't understand your suggestion, but maybe I didn't make myself clear.
I would like the ticket to be created automatically from a Telegram or Whatsapp message, just as it is now automatically created from an email.

Have you checked WhatsApp API to do this?

WhatsApp API's allow you click and chat option.

or you can also use Twilio to integrate both WhatsApp and telegram...

@WhiteTiger Yes, you can associate WhatsApp and Telegram messages with a ticketing system to create support tickets for specific numbers. However, the process may vary depending on the ticketing system you are using

@muzamil321 that response is a non answer and contained a 3rd party url to an unknown site.
Consider this your first and only warning about such behavior.

There are several intermediary services that can help you connect WhatsApp and Telegram to your OST mailbox. For example, Zapier or Integromat can be used to create an automated process and convert messages from WhatsApp and Telegram into tickets in the OST mailbox.

Is there any way to sent notification to whatsapp after assigning the task or ticket

              syedadil

Not with core osTicket and core osTicket plugins. I know with popular cell companies you can do a phone number as an email (eg. AT&T is 1234567890@@txt.att.net). So if What'sApp allows the same, you can set your User/Agent emails to their What'sApp phone number emails. Then it will send emails to the What'sApp email which should generate a Text message.

              Cheers.

Thanks for the tip! Integrating WhatsApp and Telegram with an OST mailbox could streamline communication and help manage tickets more efficiently. Using services like Zapier or Integromat to automate the process sounds like a great idea. It's always helpful to explore different options to find the best solution for your specific needs.
Also, you might wanna explore whatsapp crm integration. This could be a game-changer for improving customer interactions and support. Thanks for sharing this valuable information!

I just need the osTicket user to be alerted of any interaction via WhatsApp, in addition to email. Is there a way to do this?
