Hiya,

I just upgraded to 1.15.x and have php7,4. All works smoothly!!

I just wanted to ask if there is any info about using osT as a CRM.

Most of our tickets are booking inquiries and i would like to be able to keep track of the sale status.

We already have different closed dates for tickets, eg Closed/Not Booked, Closed/Booked, etc but it would be great to also be able to record the value of the “deal” on the ticket, and having this reported by month/agent/dept.

Do you know if this can be done on osT?

Thx

This isn't exactly the use case for osTicket, but you could do something like this.

You add a custom fields to Ticket Details to track the data you want.

When it comes to reporting however you would need to roll your own solution or talk to @scottro about his paid third party Reports Plugin to see if he would create additional reports for you.

In osTicket, you can create custom fields to capture additional information related to each ticket. To track the sale status and record the value of the "deal" on a ticket, you can create custom fields to store this information. For example, you can create a custom dropdown field with options like "Not Booked," "Booked," and so on. Additionally, you can create a custom numeric field to record the value of the deal.

With the custom fields in place, you can generate reports in osTicket to analyze the CRM enrichment by month, agent, department, and other criteria. osTicket provides basic reporting capabilities, allowing you to filter and group tickets based on different attributes, including custom fields.
