I would like to implement a kind of reminder e-mail on tickets. To do this, osTicket would need to send an email to user on the due date programmed in the ticket. It is possible?
I will use this as a payment reminder. The ticket will expire on the payment day.

You would have to alter the core files to achieve that.
I would think that you would probably be better served by writing a plugin that did what your looking specifically rather than altering the core files.
