Show a field based on another field answer

Hi guys,

I would like to have a custom field on a form showing based on another fields answer. For example, theres a field called "Do you like apples?" (list with "Yes" or "No"), and based on the user answer on such field, another field called "What color of apples?" (list with "Red" and "Green") becomes avaliable.

Any help will be grealy apreciated.

Cascading or Dependent fields are not a feature in osTicket at this time.

That being said you can achieve this with out altering the core files by using the Help Topic as the first choice, and having it display a custom form.

Otherwise you would need to alter the core files or look into a paid 3rd party plugin that does it. I think that one of the two by cartmega will do what you are looking for.
