Hi all, is there an option to parse the mailbody of incoming emails?
For example: I've created a custom field called hostgroup for every ticket. Every user is putting "hostgroup: xyz" in the mailbody and I want to put this in that custom variable.

i tried with custom forms, but no success.
Did i miss something or is it not (yet) possible?

You can probably do this using ticket filters.

That thread is from 2011... so I doubt that thread is still pertinent to modern versions.
I'm not sure that you can easily do that for current versions. There is no out of the box solution for this that i can think of.
You would need to edit the core files to add custom actions.
