Hi,

I'm using Osticket 1.14.
Attachments are stored on filesystem.

We are making templates answers on osticket and we have an issue with img expiration.
As tickets have usually a short life I can understand there is a lifetime for image a file included with a ticket, but I do not understand why on templates as they will be used every days for years usually.

Is there any way to remove this expiration for templates?

code example we have when we upload a an image in a template :

<img src="/support/file.php?key=-oh8y-lod4zynclv-67p397o1lfxfjgu&expires=1606435200&signature=6882e837dfadbb2ff2d73ce8e3d7af2e85048952" data-image="wv30dy7i73k1">

Could you explain what you mean a little more? Are you talking about Canned Responses, Knowledgebase Articles, Email Templates?

Cheers.

    Interesting, I haven't had any image attachments on a email template expire and disappear in over ten years of using osTicket. Heck I didn't even know that this was a thing.

    I have a workaround :

    • add the "Attachments on File System" plugin.
    • Upload the images we want in template as logo
    • Select images in Choose when we insert them in the template

    I know this is old, but I'm still having the OP's issue, and another workaround that has seemed to work so far is uploading the image to be used in the template to Settings -> Company -> Logos. It doesn't need to be set as default for anything but then when inserting an image into a template it will show up on the "choose" tab. Hope that helps.
