Hi

I wanted to ask if there is an option to create an automatic internal note for a new ticket

This is mainly to include things like frequently used URL's to look up that user in my databases and different sites

so example the workflow will be like:

New ticket comes in from Bob bob@smith.com

And an automatic internal note is created with

https://site1.com/?search=bob@smith.com
https://site2.com/?search=bob@smith.com

and so on...

Freshdesk has this feature, "Automations" where you make a filter based on anything, like, if ticket requester has @ in his email (to basically include all tickets)

Then:
create automatic internal note: (and then there is an HTML box that supports variables) to make the template of the internal note with the variables.

Thanks

I'm not aware of a way to do this at this time.

bigdaddy27 I have created a simple proof of concept plugin that does this for you.

There are no filters and it adds to all tickets but that could be added with a bit more work.

It uses the built in Email Templates.

Rename autonote.zip.pdf to autonote.zip, extract and upload the autonote folder to /include/plugins then Install + Enable.

AdamDempsey this is exactly what I was looking for. Maybe we can let the devs know about this plugin via github or something?
